Thanks for the pic. I just grabbed the box, shipped it. Had the horrible thought when it was on it's way...what if I'd used the case for a different pen? Whew! Give it a try before looking for a pen repair service..maybe it'll work for you. I'd advise not sending it to Mont Blanc...their lousy service pissed me off.

I seem to recall being rather underwhelmed with the attitude from the service department of one of the major pen manufacturers. I don’t remember which one, but it very well could’ve been Mont Blanc.
I don’t recall the details but it seems like they wanted a chunk of money just to receive the pen, before providing any sort of assurance that the problem could actually be fixed. Maybe they wouldn’t give a repair price, either. Whatever it was, they did not get my business.
