Using one of the self-checkouts this am and a gal, who looked mid twenties, couldn't finish her checkout...the light was on to summon help.
A worker came over and said she needed to see her ID for the
non-alcoholic beer that she had scanned. She asked "why" and the worker said it's state law.
I had never heard of that.
Is that the law in all states?
