Second Week of January

First things first – we had to make a chassis jig to move the car around the shop and also to transport to the body shop. This jig was built in-house by Tito, in-house fabricator for SV Auto. Really nicely done with great welding and high-quality casters.


Fourth Week of January

Originally, the design plan for the car was to import the first 4Laws full carbon fiber shell into the U.S. I saw the kit on display for the first time at Toyko Auto Salon back in January 2020. We explored this option along with both Simo from SV Auto and Jon Sibal for about three weeks, with many hours invested along with the companies new U.S. distributor and 4Laws from Japan.


After meeting with their distributor in person, and understanding more about the actual body kit as well as considering lead times and possible issues of delivery because of the pandemic, we graciously opted out of this concept and decided to pursue something drastically different that has never been done before.
