"In our continuing studies involving the dichotomy of the relationship dynamics between three individuals, we have discovered three distinct personas emerging: one of denial, as depicted by the elderly woman, whose body language is clearly expressing disinterest and apathy; one of self-absorbed boastfulness, as depicted by the young child who is full of pride based on his own accomplishments; and one of projected control, as depicted by the EMT worker whose outward appearance of being calm and collective is insufficient to mask his inability to admit this experience is not only pushing him out of his comfort zone, but is also prompting his inner psyche to recall the coping mechanisms his therapist had taught him just last week.
We will discover how this conflict between these three individuals represent the three components of our personalities: the id, ego, and super-ego, as defined in classic Freudian psychology.
Now class, please turn to page 342 in our text books so we can delve into this more deeply."
