We do not know how good, or bad, the Leafs are. The quality in the North is sub-par. End of story.
Vancouver and Ottawa are done. Calgary are on life support (Montreal has three games in hand and is four points ahead with 13 games remaining), Montreal is schizophrenic, Winnipeg don't show up half the time...Edmonton can be great, or McDavid and LD gets shut down and they lose.
I hope Calgary makes it close, but neither team looks good enough to challenge for the North title.
I was optimistic when the season started, I've seen enough of this experiment. Bring on Tampa and Colorado during the regular season please.
