Once the top is in the middle, it should move up or down independent of the SL/SR and ZL/ZR switches.
In this position, the UP & Down limit switches and the SL/SR & ZL/ZR switches can be easily tested with an ohmmeter,
and the complete functionality of the cab top simulated/tested.
It's an extremely simple process to troubleshoot that system!
