I have been traveling again as well, all by car. I stay in the Hilton chain due to points and proximity.
I like what they have done with the seal on the door, the wrapped remote, wipes, hand sanitizers, etc. But lets be honest, who really knows. Since I am in my car, I carry a huge roller and take my own pillows with me, have for years. The chemicals in hotel linens water my eyes
I have stayed in four different hotels, all Hampton Inns, and the level of amenities varies by State. In Virginia, they just have grab and go, wrapped breakfast. South Carolina had the full Monty plus to go.
Works for me, I never do the sit down thing at the hotel anyway.
Masks still mandatory.
The other thing I have noticed is that at gas stops everyone is masked up and very polite. I do the WaWa/Sheets stops because they each have a healthy selection of food.
BTW, we are back at work with 85% staff in place.
