That was 23 years ago. Since then, I always carry on the farm, always. I have a rifle rack on my SxS Ranger for chrissake. Not loaded, the clip is in the glove box.

The last two were very aggressive and I was very happy to be armed.

You can see the Marlin HMR bolt action below with our Red Heeler, now 17/18 years old...not really sure since she was a rescue dog.

Even with the good gun safety training that I know you do, Paul, isn't the HMR a little bit too much of a gun for a Red Heeler?
