The issue with rabid animals really is
your animal. We have Jack's and Red Heelers, the Patriot Missiles of dogs...it is honestly more about protecting them. They will launch well before I sense anything but will immediately pull back, at least on the ast two rabid animals I had to shoot.
During the first rabid issue I had a Lab, Earl. He didn't even get out of the truck.
