I don't think I've had a single drop of blood in 10 years since switching over. I can shave forwards, backwards, sidewards, inside outwards, and never draw blood. In fact, I normally DO shave in several directions, one after the other. Waterproof, shave in the shower.
The only problem with them is that once the first battery runs out, they tend to start dying faster and faster. Once the factory waterproof seal is broken for the battery compartment, they never seem to seal as well again. Mine live in the shower so they're always wet, probably not a problem if you don't let them get wet like that.

I use the exact same one. Will never switch. I change the batteries no problem though. Obviously it's like changing the oil in a tractor. You have to clean it up before opening.
