Welp, the boss's wife had me slaving in the back yard again yesterday, and today she will let me mow the yard. We had to cut down the four Crape Myrtles that we have. They were all frozen last winter and will have to come up from the roots. So a 15 foot Crape Myrtle tree is now about an 1/2 inch tall like the others.
Then we put in 16 feet of metal edging at the bottom of the stockade fence to stop the bunny rabbit from getting in the back yard. Then we moved on to the exit of the French drains. It dumps out under the fence, and is washing out the dirt some there, so we put down the black cloth liner, and 5 bags of round river rocks. Those bags are heavy.
After I mow, I get to build a cage for some shading material for the baby Japanese Maple that had the giant tree fall on it.
