Been doing a lot of thinking and planning without a lot of wrenching, but I feel like I’m solving my little issues.
One of my big goals for this project is reliability, so I spent a bit of time sourcing brass fittings and in doing so realized that I could couple my IAC directly to the vacuum manifold by using a 1/4” to 3/8” NPT fitting. This will eliminate one hose and one fitting as well as solve where to mount the IAC.
I don’t deal with pipe fittings much and man are they confusing as the internal is what they measure from, so the fittings look huge compared to what they are listed as.
