three cops to enforce a littering offense?
They pulled them over for littering and then search the car? That’s Bullsht. No wonder people are rioting.
MrsWD got pulled over in Illinois 2 years ago. She had a friend and our neighbor with her. Three white women in their ‘60s in a Toyota Tundra - obviously up to no good.
The cops claimed she changed lanes improperly.
Our neighbor was sitting in the back seat on the driver’s side. She was the recently retired prosecutor for our county.
The way they tell it all went well - license, registration, insurance- the usual stuff. Until he asked where they were going.
Neighbor rolled down her window and informed him, “We don’t have to answer that.”
Cop got his back up and said they needed to search the truck. “You aren’t going to search this truck.”
It went on for several minutes, until the cop realized he was in over his head against a lawyer with 30 years experience as a county prosecutor and a stint as a judge.
