I have a similar story from 1972, but I watched as her girlfriends left her passed out on the sidewalk, with her skirt up to her chin outside the happy hour, for the world to see and take advantage. They just left her there and got in a cab. WTF?
Some friends. I made sure she knew they left her there after she sobered up.
