Also marching on music, but in a very different way.
I was born and raised in Ypres, and i've seen British marching up and down the square for as long as I can remember. 11/11 is always the time our town shines, in part because of the Brits..

This is from the Passchendaele remembrance in 17.. the camera angle is pretty close to where my bedroom window was... I've seen the pope visit, rally's pop concerts, all in front of my room ..(I don't live on the square anymore)




They are marching from the square , to the Meningate, the same route Tommies marched 105 years ago towards the front line.

This Passchendaele remembrance is one of the nicest things they ever did on the Marketsquare..BBC production, they know how to do things right
