The fuel pump relay adapter was an idea so I could adapt the current factory wiring to work in a fashion that the ECU wants. Dennis made me up a custom harness and my tests proved that power would go to the pump when the Megasquirt ECU supplied ground and more importantly wouldn’t power the pump when it shouldn’t!
It is going to be a bit interesting to run the wires in the relay panel to mount the socket in an open space- appears that the panel may unbolt at the top giving me some extra room to work.
Also need to figure out a way to label so when my forgetful mind works on it down the road or the next owner or shop finds themselves digging into it.
