Well, I know it`s been asked like a gazzillion times but I`ll ask once again.
A while ago I have replaced a clutch cable, managed to adjust it somehow but yet the pedal travel was really long. So long I couldn`t use any back panel behind the pedals. The clutch pedal assembly was rebuilt at the same time as the clutch cable replace.
Now, with my engine rebuilt I`m trying to put the cable in it`s place and it seems short. What I mean by that - when omega spring and all the metal levers attached I need about 10mm more of lenght to put the cable on the lever. If i`m trying hard I manage to put the cable where it should be, but the gap (between large release lever arm and the bolt has to be from 1.2mm to 1 mm when it`s all on) is almost 0. Like it`s very tight. I`ve tried to measure cable travel and it`s like 12 mm or so indtead of 25...
How can that be if I didn`t change anything on the cable\pedal part?
The throw bearing is new, along with the flywheel yet I kept my old pressure plate (good condition)
The last time I`ve checked the fork (installed the engine and the gearbox last weekend) it was fine.
Will try to upload a video of cable travel.
