I think you could classify what Jake did all those years ago as "calling out a bully". If I recall correctly the sellerhad basically said F U and walked away.
New Brunswick isn't that big. You're not gonna walk that far.
Sure there was a risk. But sometimes you have to do what's right, for you and your community.
Those are happy looking kids, Jake! The Minuet is a lovely boat. I've sailed a Bluenose class a couple of times, but because my mooring at low tide has less than a couple of feet of water, keel boats are not an option. Too bad because a local fellow is selling a Nordica 16 for a good price and I have always admired that boat.
After foolishly selling my old Skunk about ten years ago, we ended up raising my now 7 year old grand daughter. Last summer I started looking for another dinghy and a month or so ago found another Skunk. I am administering TLC to the poor neglected thing, but should have it (and the grand daughter) on the river in a few weeks!
I still owe you a dinner.
