Damn, Tim, that really impressive. And so, too, your YouTube videos. You are very very handy!

Before: we purchased a nice home that needed _everything_. First job was to remove 30 tons of misc debris. The underside and basement were infested with rats and bunnies so I had to close up all of the access and then trap the smart little boogers. Had to replace the roof etc. It was pretty much the worst home in a good neighborhood - third time I’ve done such.

Anyways, I should probably start a thread, but for now here are a few “pool yard” before and after pics:









It had a sort of charm. And those rock walls, while built in 1990, are a big historical thing around here. But what the photos don’t show are the walls were failing/falling over, the pool deck was lifting and had been partially replaced with material that didn’t match. The pool plaster was also shot and overall it had plumbing issues.

The blue/red color scheme took some getting used to for me. But it matches the rest of the house (which was meticulously copied in 1990 from a 1910 Santa Barbara home) and they are the traditional color scheme for Spanish Colonial homes.
