Damn, Tim, that really impressive. And so, too, your YouTube videos. You are very very handy!
Before: we purchased a nice home that needed _everything_. First job was to remove 30 tons of misc debris. The underside and basement were infested with rats and bunnies so I had to close up all of the access and then trap the smart little boogers. Had to replace the roof etc. It was pretty much the worst home in a good neighborhood - third time I’ve done such.
Anyways, I should probably start a thread, but for now here are a few “pool yard” before and after pics:
It had a sort of charm. And those rock walls, while built in 1990, are a big historical thing around here. But what the photos don’t show are the walls were failing/falling over, the pool deck was lifting and had been partially replaced with material that didn’t match. The pool plaster was also shot and overall it had plumbing issues.
After:
The blue/red color scheme took some getting used to for me. But it matches the rest of the house (which was meticulously copied in 1990 from a 1910 Santa Barbara home) and they are the traditional color scheme for Spanish Colonial homes.
