Shell closed the Convent Refinery a few months back. Word is that they will be moving into renewable manufacturing in one of their California facilities. Ergon Refining in Mississippi actually just closed their "green Fuel" facility in Jackson. And for the past few months there is talk of building a huge green fuel facility on the river across from Baton Rouge, but so far its all talk. No engineering is being do. In the original article announcing this it stated that it would cause diesel fuel to go to $6 per gallon.
