Dawn is actually pretty harsh. I had an oriental that was more or less covered with dog poo (good girl but was very sick). Woolite and a pressure washer in the driveway worked wonders-use the broadest tip you can. Its easier if you can get the rug off the driveway to rinse all the way thru, but it'll work either way. Sunshine for a day also helps.
