How to cut 5/8" steel plate like butter

Get a proper metal cutting circular saw. This one is an ancient Hitech Evolution 180 I got for $45 with a few tons of steel I bought off CL. And get the right blade, Fein Slugger for mild steel. Going slowly, I cut 6 feet of 5/8" steel plate in under 5 minutes. And the blade will still cut more. Going to look for a low speed chop saw for these blades. They are far better than an abrasive fiber cutting wheel on I have on my 14" Milwaukee chop saw now.
