A regular wood saw will easily cut aluminium or steel with carbide blade, ideally a 8 1/4 saw spinning a 7 1/2" blade to get the teeth surface speed down, most carbide wood blades will cut through aluminium no prob, and some steel. I have cut 2 1/2" aluminium with reg worm drive circular saw and reg carbide blade. Face shield and hearing protection req. That saw would help keep the hot swarf away.
