Garage
I bought a 94 quart cooler a few years ago at an estate sale for $10. It showed it's age and the handles were broken. I had quick fixed it with some pieces of rope but they wore out. I went on Amazon and they wanted $12.75 for 1. I wasn't going to pay $25 to replace the handles on a $10 cooler.

I've had this piece of 1/8" stainless steel rod that I've been carrying around for years. Bent it to fit and added a piece of 3/8" fuel hose to act a handle cushion. Perfect and
FREE!
