You can also get white LED's and wire them up... a buddy of mine did it for his 911 and it looks awesome. As for the your gauge problem you can hange a small console from below the dash with gas and volt... I on the other hand hacked a 911 dash out of an early car and sculpeted it into the 914 along with the steering column, switches and wiring.
