That barely even looks like a tomato plant.
This year I planted 1 Sun Sugar and 7 Early Girl/Roma plants. The soil is well-tilled, I plant them about 14" deep and fill the hole with compost. Most years, I get a decent yield. Once every several years, the stars align (and the weather unfolds just like the tomatoes like it) and yield is unbelievable. Fingers crossed.
For gardeners who can things, NOW is the time to get jars if you think you will need them. I predict a severe jar shortage in August/September.
