Yes they are. John makes REALLY nice headers that make power. My motor was the mock-up motor for his air cooled headers and he also makes them for GT3s.
His GT3 setup was worth 10hp+ over the factory M&M RSR headers on PMNA’s engine dyno in back to back testing when I used to be involved with such things on a customers Grand Am spec 4.0L 997 engine.
Steve Wong can tell you what they are worth HP wise on a stock 3.2L.
