Hahah. Yep, I saw no webs while I was down there which was surprising (but made me quite happy).

Yes, I was down there with a flash/headlight in the last 30 mins before sunset. It wasn't pitch black, but it was pretty dark.

I've actually been very surprised that I've seen very few spiders since we've moved in. I've only recently seen a couple of small ones outside the house. I haven't seen any inside the garage which seems like it'd be prime territory for spiders, and I haven't seen any under the house or inside the house.

I'm sure it's only a matter of time.

And, apparently, there are tarantulas in the area. I haven't seen any, but some folks from the neighboring county have posted photos on facebook of tarantulas that they've run across.

If I was under the house and ran into a tarantula, I don't think it would go well for either of us.
