I was thiiiiiiiiiiis close to going that route.
I also want to swap out the lid or lids on my septic tank. The one on the first tank has been hit by the mower, and is broken. I managed to get the lid off (not that hard) and then back on (huge PITA) yesterday. I'd either like something that's not cement, or something cement with handles, preferably handles that drop down when not in use.
What I found especially crazy when searching the 'Net for photos of septic tanks was how many had square access holes and lids. It seems insane to have anything other than a round hole/lid, at least, if it's concrete.
