READ THE FINE PRINT . Some of them are ruthless. We have this lady customer with 2 cars covered under a contract with american auto shield . A boxster and a 528 xt.
In the 2 years I have been servicing her cars, they have not covered one single claim. Not one . All , regular, run of the mill repairs that my shop sees on a daily basis .
I also would not waste my money if I had a Honda Civic at 100k. Not too much more reliable than that .
They probably will not cover computer reflash , and usually do not pay diagnostic time
