I bought an aftermarket warranty (against my better judgement) when I bought my new 2011 Odyssey. After 100k miles with no claims, I got the full amount of the policy back (less $50 handling). As has been mentioned you need to be a lawyer to understand what they will cover and quite often they don’t cover much.
On a side note, I also have a 2016 Civic and the radio in mine is weird too...and the rain sensor wipers are useless. Nice car other than that.
