Anyone drive a non-turbo one? Back in the day I pulled the race car on a trailer with a S-10 with the 2.8L V6. It wasn't fast but it got me to the track.

Re non-turbo, I took a cross country trip in a 2017 F150 with a 3.5 and no turbo. Not exactly the same as an Explorer but probably close. While it had sufficient power, you do have to plan for long grades, and I did not find it as "fun." However, for a truck, I did pretty good on the mpg - nearly 18!
