G'day Chris,
Seems like you've made great progress so far. Well done.
My project is a much long drawn out tail of wow but I'm sure there's a silver lining, and it's very close.
I'm in Australia. First problem is accessing quality parts without excessive postage costs.
My wife bought me a 76 911 S in 1993 as a gift. It was imported from the US and not 100% complete. Down here at the time, a left hand drive vehicle could not be registered for the road so I had no option but to convert it. I also really love the 964 look so that's the way that I went. I know a lot of purists frown upon updating older cars, but that's the look I like and there's no way I could afford a real 964 down here in OZ. Seems it's OK to Back date a look but not update

Life has taken many different turns for me and as such the car is still not on the road

But now it's very close. Someone said that I have champagne taste on a beer budget.
Hope to have it on the road this year.
So, US delivered 911S, Midnight Blue Metallic, 964 narrow body kit, all genuine parts including engine cover with retractable spoiler, Elephant Racing poly bronze bushes all round, ER quick change spring plates, 22/29 Torsion bars, Cup 1 copies 7.5" and 9", wevo shifter with home made 917 style timber gear knob, SSIs, MSD ignition, carbon fibre hot air backdate, lowered to Euro height, some of these parts are not installed but I have them. Also have a sunroof delete panel from the UK yet to be installed but my priority now is to get it on the road.
A sad story but true.
Regards,
Frank
