Come to think of it Hollywood Speedo wanted $200 for the halogen kit for the 911, I think it would be less for only 3 guages in the 914 but I don't know. So $200 kinda seems a little high for just a light kit. I'm sure with more info I could (and you guys as well) could build out own light kit. I guess I just need small hallogen bulbs with the proper base to fit into the guage socket. Anyone have any ideas? The stock bulbs just are not bright enough.
Hey BigD where do you get white LEDs? That sounds interesting.
The 911 dash thing sounds cool but tricky. Its alot of work to cut and fit a 911 dash into a 914. There in an alternative.... someone makes a fiberglass dash the fits right into a 914 and has 5 guages (I think its Mshaw?)
Sure you could always put a set of extra guages in a console but I think spending the money on a cool custom guage from Hollwood speedo has more bragging rights. Decisions decisions.
