How's that for a title? I'm excited the Porsche Classic is giving our old work horses some love...

I'm continuing to go thru deferred maintenance on my 2004 951 and the latest may be one thing, or maybe two.

When I come to a stop light, a couple seconds after braking to a full stop, I get a shutter through the car as it falls to idle. I have replaced the top engine torque strap, and that removed some shutters, but not 100%. It's good, then shudders for 2 seconds, then idles fine.

Could this be the bottom motor mounts? How do we like the Lemfoerder versions vs Porsche?

Second issue, when I hit a speed bump or pot hole, I get a loud clunk up front. I do not get squeaking like the tech bulletin says about the sway bar rubber. I believe this is the engine bottoming out on the crushed mounts... Anyone think this could be related to the first issue?
