This is one fantastic track. Lots a fun, and harder than Laguna Secca. Turn 3 is really just a double apex long turn. You really want to exit it right, or you are on the wrong side of the track for turn 4 winch is off camber, downhill, 8 story drop down into the canyon. I found staying in second gear and running to redline down the hill and braking hard to make turn 5 worked best for me. The 7 8 9 10 complex of curves is very technical and again you really need to nail the apex to setup for the .7 mile uphill straight. Turn 11 is again a downhill thru 12 and 13 is another double apex really long turn. It was one of my favorites as I could clearly see the turn, and screaming thru at 50 to 60 MPH is fun, and then a blind uphill very long turn 14 that to do it best for me meant nailing the throttle when I could just see the top of a clubhouse building, and drift to the left. Then down the back straight. Turns 15 A&B are another double apex one long curve.
It made me really happy to have a dry sump oil system. My 914 would never survive there with the oil sloshing away from the oil pickup.
I got to have just over 130 miles of track time. 25 minute sessions is forever. Twice I was thinking I will just come in on the next lap and they were waving the checkered flag.
The track is super smooth and unlike ordinary roads does not have a crown. It has a slope to one side or the other for drainage. Most of the slope is not really noticeable and the turns are positive camber. The downhill off camber turn is really hard to do it right and I scared myself a few times when I got too far away from the proper line.
It is a very safe track. No tire walls, no concrete barriers or guardrails at all. Mostly grass run-off area. Highly recommended. My face still hurts from all the grinning.
