I do not know anything about Saab's.
Except.
College roommate of mine is moving from San Francisco to Baltimore for work, 1996/7 time frame. He has a recent vintage Saab Turbo, a model of car I had never been in.
I have business in NAS Fallon in Nevada and we decide to drive the Saab to Baltimore together.
He picks me up in Fallon and we take Route 50, the so called Loneliest Road in America, a route I love, to Ely.
The Saab was amazing. We set the cruise control on 100mph (tires were rated and near new) and it just rolled, not another car in sight.
