Thank you for caring about my relationship with God. Lets meet after church (mine or yours) and we can talk about it. I never claimed to be perfect. I am tempted to slap people just like everyone else. Christians aren't perfect, just forgiven by God when they yield to the temptations. Our responsibility is to repent, and try to do better. The cool part is that God set the rules and He said if I believe in Jesus Christ, my sins are forgiven. I don't use that as a license to sin but I am comforted that He forgives me even when I screw up. I do find it humorous that atheist are quick to tell me how I should behave as a Christian (not referring to you).

Side note: There is a humorous (but not scriptural) saying that with some people "if you slapped them God would say 'amen' ".
