A homeowner's policy won't cover something like this? I guess it would make sense to cover only things that occurred at my home (i.e. dog knocks over a houseguest). But I only ask because a recent patient of mine came in with a dog bite she sustained at a local little league field, and she commented that the other dog's owner's homeowner policy would be covering the injuries. She was paying for her treatment out of her own health care policy, but sounded confident that any of her costs would in turn be covered by the other person's homeowner's policy.
Still, I have an umbrella policy. Just in case.
