No, that’s the result of shutting down the entire country during peak flu season. Sure we lost most of our civil rights, violent crime/alcohol/drug abuse spiked, teen suicides went through the roof, thousands lost their business and millions lost their jobs, but one life lost is too many right?

Also if you’d like to do some research there are multiple scientific studies, many pre-CV, about the effectiveness of cloth and surgical style masks. Best case it’s about 10% assuming proper use, which most people don’t do.
