Back in 2008 Penske was running the LMP2 effort for Porsche. We got to take a tour and they let us on the floor, elbow to elbow with the mechanics and ask questions. One of the other tour guides saw us and was floored. She said getting into the white house oval office would be easier than a floor visit with the mechanics at Penske. We were lucky in that the tour was from Porsche Parade and Peter Porsche himself was there. It was all in who you know.
It is a very impressive facility.
