A lot of F trucks live in one city or metro area - work trucks, for example, and the trucks that people drive when they really could be driving a compact car.
I wouldn’t buy any EV now if use is long roadtrips. My wife wants an EV, we drive from Portland to Tahoe a few times a year, just did it and she realized there are so few chargers on the preferred route (the shorter route) and the drive is so long (600 miles) that you’d add 2+ hours sitting at a charger and God help you if you miss the charger or it’s not working, because there isn’t another one for 250 miles.
Realistically, will the e-F truck be more than 10% of F truck sales in this first model? No way in heck. But it doesn’t need to be.
