With the one we saw, I was in the living room when I first noticed it passing at a very slow pace about 500 feet above our neighborhood a couple streets over. I was waiting for it to appear through the window on the adjacent wall, but it never did, so I went out front and there it was hovering over our street. It has a slight hum to it and was now at around 300 feet or so. Circular in form with lights equally positioned around its perimeter.
It hovered there for about 2 minutes than slowly proceed in the same direction it was before. No longer being able to see it, we ran upstairs to the attic where we could see it now hovering over our village downtown a few blocks over. 30 seconds later it climbed at a 45 degree angle and rapidly increased its speed until I lost visual. I remember it like it was yesterday. No, I do not drink or do drugs.
