Any fertilizer experts here?
Not the BS kind, I know there are a lot of experts here on that.
This morning I opened a bag of fertilizer and it has ground foam rubber in it. This is the second time I've found ground foam rubber in fertilizer. The last time it was clearly carpet padding and was about 10% of the volume. This bag has less, and it's ground too finely to identify.
Does anyone here know why the put ground foam rubber in fertilizer? I assume it is to add volume, but fertilizer is sold by weight, so why add volume? It sure does clog up applicators. PITA.
