Car is not running yet.
I'm assembling this 930 shifter into a car and the gates feel odd. I'm wondering if this rubber part on the shift tower may have been installed wrong.
Could someone have a look and tell me if their shifter matches my top picture or bottom picture.

First picture is how I received the shift tower. I recall a long stroke to engage reverse and it makes me think it's supposed to look like the second picture.
