I cant believe I bought this. but I am simply tired of hauling around a big tank (5gal)on 1-2 night camping trips. I have to put it in a milk crate to keep if from battering ramming around in the back of my truck.
I am now kayak fish camping. my kayak in the truckbed pretty much takes up ALL the space, with my fishing rods tucked in next to it. I cant stuff the truck-bed or my rods will break.
It messes with my sensibilities that a tank that is smaller, less material to make, same valve, etc COST MORE!!! I bit the bullet (and it tastes bitter).
but it is kinda cute as far as propane tanks go. haha. I laughed at the salesperson at REI trying to peddle the $125 version they sell. it is the same bottle, but it has a cool sheathing.
