What I would really like to have done is have a Turbocharger supplier/rebuilder take my cold side housing and put it on a new/rebuilt K27-7006. It has all the pertinent Porsche data on the data plate.
I'm afraid my hot rodding days are over (a young-at-heart 71). I'm moving towards putting the factory slant back to near factory levels and selling it. My guess the original turbo took a direct hit on the exhaust turbine from header slag.
Do you think Evergreen Turbo would be interested in doing something like that?
