Great motor, lousy truck. The interiors don't stand up like the Fords or GM's and the heater box issue is a pita. I'd look for a 6 liter Ford that had already had the bulletproofing done as well, as they're solid trucks but people hate the 6.0 so they cheapish. With good reason, but the fixes are known and work.
