"Out for delivery" can mean you placed an order and the order is in the very first part of the process.
If you just placed it recently, chances are, UPS doesn't even know about it yet.
Then in a day or two the order status might change saying that the shipping label has been created or such, paperwork.
That just means that UPS is now aware of the order and that it will soon be ready for them to pick up.
Eventually UPS will show they actually picked up the package.
When it shows the package location has moved from their central location to a location closer to you, that's when you know it's really out for delivery.
Typically they only have it for two days before it's on your door step.
But they play these silly games to make the buyer feel better.
