My car at the time of purchase had 16" Fuchs. 7" and 8" with 205/55/16 on the front and 225/50/16 on the rear.
I went to 17" wheels with 7" on the front and 8" on the rear. Front offset is et 23 on the 7" and et 10 on the rear 8". Tires 205/50/17 front and 255/40/17 rear. NO ISSUES !!!!
